PTR Certification
Academy players age seventeen and up are encouraged to take a Van Der Meer Tennis University I course and join the Professional Tennis Registry. Membership in the PTR and successful completion of this teaching instruction course and certification exam can open doors for players to obtain summer jobs and internships. The Tennis University I course is offered several times throughout the year at Van Der Meer Tennis Center on Hilton Head Island, SC. It is also offered in late spring at Van Der Meer Tennis Camp at Sweet Briar College, VA.
