2008/2009 Training Season

Junior World Class - Non-boarding only

For younger players (ages 7-12) serious about their tennis, beginning to participate in tournaments:

1.5 hours of Academy training T/Th afternoons (4:30-6:00)
Fun on-court drills tailored to stroke production, ball placement, point play, and developing strategy
On-court fitness

Part-time Afternoons - Non-boarding only

For junior players attending day school, entering at least 2 tournaments per month:

2 hours of Academy training T/W/Th afternoons (3:30-5:30)
2.5 hours supervised matchplay Saturday (2:00-4:30)
On-court fitness, footwork & conditioning, mental-toughness training, goal-setting meetings, guest speakers
Strength and fitness program offered 3 times weekly (additional cost)

For junior players attending day school, entering at least 2 tournaments per month with USTA ranking points:

2.5 hours of Academy training per afternoon, M-F (3:00-5:30)
5 hours of Academy training on Saturday (9:30-12:00 and 2:00-4:30)
On-court fitness, footwork & conditioning, mental-toughness training, goal-setting meetings, guest speakers
Strength and fitness program offered 3 times weekly (additional cost)

For elite-level junior players attending day school and entering multiple tournaments with sectional, national, or international ranking points:

2.5 hours of Academy training M/W/F (3:00-5:30) plus 1 hour of strength and fitness training

3 hours of Academy training T/Th (3:00-6:00)
5 hours of Academy training on Saturday (9:30-12 and 2:00-4:30)
On-court fitness, footwork & conditioning, mental-toughness training, goal-setting meetings, guest speakers
College placement advisement & assistance

3 hours of Academy training T/Th (3:00-6:00)

5 hours of Academy training on Saturday (9:30-12:00 and 2:00-4:30)
